Weekend Hours - May2026

Dear Patients,

Welkare Medical Office will be permanently closing as of May 31, 2026, as Dr. Muia and Dr. Robinson will be retiring from the practice of medicine.

We have previously sent notices regarding the office closure and the steps required for the transfer of medical records. Due to the overwhelming rush of patients attending the office, Welkare Medical Office has decided to open every Saturday and Sunday on the specific hours listed below until May 31st 2026, to assist patients.  There will be no doctors available on the weekends as it will be administrative staff ONLY!

The office will be open on Saturdays from 10am to 4pm and Sundays from 10am to 1pm for administrative support only. Please note that office staff will be available, but there will be no doctors on site.

Patients who have not yet completed mandatory paperwork are asked to come into Welkare Medical Office on a Saturday and Sunday for the month of May 2026 and

-1) Complete the Medical Records Preparation & Release Authorization form

-2) Receive information about the new clinic’s name and location

-3) Obtain details regarding the transfer process options and fee. 

If you have already completed your paperwork and made payment, you do not need to come into the office again.

If you have not yet selected a location for your ongoing care, please call our office so our staff can assist you.

INTAKE

If you are due for medications in June, or for a routine appointment (B12, injection, blood pressure check etc) please come into our office on any Saturday or Sunday in May to book with the new clinic.

The new clinic will begin taking/making intake calls June 1st, 2026. Please continue to check this website for more information.

We will continue to provide care until May 31, 2026. Our goal is to make this transition as seamless and smooth as possible for every patient.
