RSV Vaccine Recommendations

Currently the Respiratory Syncytial Virus (RSV) vaccine is only covered by OHIP for patients 60 years old or older who live in Long Term Care, Retirement Homes, and Elder Care Lodges.

The RSV vaccine is also covered for patients that are on hemodialysis or peritoneal dialysis, or that are a recipient of a solid organ transplant or hematopoietic stem cell transplant.

If you do not fall into one of the above you still may be able to receive the RSV vaccine at a cost from your pharmacy. This cost depends on your pharmacy but we guess approximately $250 - $300.
