FIT = Colon Cancer Screening

Cancer Care Ontario recommends that people ages 50 to 74 at average risk for colon cancer should get checked using the new take-home fecal immunochemical test (FIT).

If you have never done a FIT test (kit mailed out to you) you will need an appointment with your doctor to discuss. If you have done a FIT test in the past and you are due again please call our office to have one sent to you in the mail.
